Yesterday, news broke that Kate Middleton was spending approximately $56, 000 a year on clothes. It’s not really surprising considering she’s been wearing considerable designer (like this Alexander McQueen dress or her infamous blue Missoni coat). I know she’s famous for recycling her wears. And yes, it’s admirable that she pays for everything but still. It seems a bit excessive, especially when she could be choosing cheaper options like this Black Halo Alexander Dress.
Oh, and did I mention Prince Charles is paying it all? Either way, she still looks gorgeous and I guess that’s all that matters, right?
All speculation. Actual figures have not yet been released. They haven’t taken into account how much discounts she receives or if she bought certain pieces the years before. They simply google prices and add them up disregarding everything I just mentioned. And did I mention this number came from the Daily Fail? That should explain a lot.
When are they going to write articles on HM’s wardrobe, Sophie’s, Camilla’s, or even Bea and Eugenie’s Louboutins? I’m waiting. This is simply blown out of proportion because it’s Kate. We need another engagement or something soon so this poppycock can stop.
